The Early Alert System is a proactive and supportive intervention strategy designed to address retention and student success concerns.
The purpose of submitting an Early Alert is to inform the Advising and Student Success teams of your concern(s) about, or feedback on, a student who may require additional support. Examples of concerns may include attendance, academic performance, behavior, or finances. However, this tool can also be used, and is encouraged, to highlight positive student behavior and interactions.
While early identification of concerns is preferred, intervention at any time is critical to student success.
